These two works were done at the overseas placement in Athens. The representation of Lightbox was much more similar to an installation piece and relatively a few ways to remember was a more theatrical one.

In the former, the images were assigned to two separate spaces, and according to the narrative we created the images, which soon grew to become independent works. The videos' concept took off from the plight and status from different characters, and put them together for accomplishing the visual concept. In the latter production, the images were integrated into the performance and it existed in the opening, transitions and the final. Through the needs of the narrative, it represented the perspective of a non-existent character's memories.

For me, the most important idea in the two works is that how to represent and create the effect of distortion and deformation of the fragments of our memory, that we have remembered, and from this form to convey the representation of images in our brain through different adjustments of colours and textures.

Meanwhile, the relationship between images and spaces we designed are equally important, such as the size of the projection, the depth of its position in the performing space. Also we have to consider about the relationship with the rhythm of the performance, through cooperation and numerous discussions with everyone in this group to complete our works.

For me, because my background is acting and therefore the way of my creation is based on the perspective and aesthetic of theatre. Ideally, the relationship between image and performance is to support each other to tell a story. Therefore these two works give me a story-based training to create images and I also learned how to enrich the establishment of the atmosphere by the perspective of visual design.
